Flowers, Flowers, Everywhere.

I know, I know. I post just way to many pictures of flowers. The problem as I see it is that I just love flowers way to much. My eyes are drawn to the colors and the simple beauty that God has given us.

I mean seriously, think about it, if we had never known the simple pleasure of taking in the beauty of a simple, tiny flower would we be as able to enjoy the many other wonders of this world?

They are so easily destroyed, but when put in the right context, they can help build relationships that will endure through eternity. They can bring a smile...........a tear............and a heartfelt, 'Please feel better.'

I just love flowers.

Things to Remember.........You know all through out my life I have loved flowers. Not so much the digging and planting them each year, I really hate to get dirt under my fingernails. I just hate it. I leave all of the playing in the dirt to by midMan and the boys. I am no girly girl by any means but I just can't handle the dirt. Getting back to the flowers though I just wanted the world to know how much I do love flowers. Especially those that grow naturally and come back every year, no matter what. I can't wait until the Sunflowers start bursting out all over. I can just bet that you will see a lot of those on my blog.

Weekend In Spring

We started out our weekend taking pictures of a cute little Prarie Dog.

And continued on our weekend by celebrating a birthday.

DTM4 turned 14 today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :)









Had a great visit with the neighbors.

Watched DTM3 and his significant other work on her car.

Helped DTM1 and DTM4 do a little yard work.

And finished with a perfect view of spring!!!!

Things to remember...................7 years ago on the 17th of April my baby, DTM4, was hit by a truck. It broke his femur in 7 places. He spent 4 days in the hospital and two months with no walking. He is such a brave wonderful little boy. From the day that we found out we were going to have a third son we knew that God had blessed us. And DTM4 continues to remind us of this everyday. He is definately one of our many gifts from GOD. We love you DTM4 and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

SPRING

I miss SPRING!!!

It snowed again last night AND I decided that I needed an image in my head that reminded me that SPRING is on it's way. I took this picture two weeks ago west of my house. My DTM, husband, and I were trying to sneek up on some deer, apparently we are not to good at that. Never saw the deer but I did get to see that SPRING is close at hand. We just need to hold on. Camping is closer than I thought. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

PS....Things to remember...............Camping has always been a great joy to our family. From the time we first married to this day we have always loved the peace and solitude of the mountains. We took all three of our boys camping before they were 6 months old. We love the time that we get to spend together and the many hikes were we find treasures. The last time we were all able to go we managed to call a herd of cows into our camp. Our little dog ZOE decided that she would chase them away. No such luck on her part, they took no notice of her. But was that a blast!!! Camping......as close to Heaven as we can get as a family on Earth.
